How We Collect & Use Personal Information
As a client of Gem, you will be asked to complete a Customer Information Form or verbally give us personal contact information to establish a customer account with us. All information that you provide to us is by your consent. Providing us with your cell phone number or email address is voluntary and optional. When giving us your email address, you will also physically, or if necessary, verbally, sign a consent authorization on the Customer Information Form that will give only Gem permission to use it to communicate with you. At this time, we do not engage in SMS mobile marketing. We keep your personal information secure and do not share or sell your personal information to third-parties. Gem does not collect any personal information through www.gemsonic.com except that knowingly and willingly supplied by the user for the purpose of providing the services/information requested through our site. We will collect personal identification information from users only if they voluntarily submit this information to us. Personal identifying information may be collected through e-mail opt-in forms to subscribe to our email list for our e-newsletter or e-special promotions, online request forms, contests, feedback forms, surveys and personal interest forms. In entering our social contest, your personal information will be added to our consumer database and you will receive our e-newsletters. You will receive an opt-in email beforehand to confirm your subscription.
